Syed Miqdad Mehdi is a law practitioner in Lahore. He did his LLB from Punjab University and LLM from University of South Asia. He is an advocate High Court and Human Rights Activist and has a long working experience with national and international organizations for the promotion and protection of human rights with a special focus on children rights. Rukhsana Shah is a retired Federal Secretary. In 2015, she set up the Autism Resource Centre in Lahore, which was registered as a Welfare Trust in 2016, to create awareness about Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities in Pakistan, and to train parents and teachers of special and mainstream schools in the management of these disabilities. She is a qualified medical professional with many years of experience as a General Physician with voluntary work in Hospitals, Charities, and NGOs including Voice Against Torture where she was providing counselling to victims from Afghanistan. Dr. Saeed Ismail

Dr. Saeed Ismail is a Consultant Child Specialist in Karachi. He did his MBBS from Dow Medical College and is a Member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan. Mr. Sirajuddin Siddiqui has done his graduation from NED University Karachi and Masters from Mehran University Jamshoro. He has served in PTCL and UN agencies (UNHCR). Mobashsharah Nighat Bajwa is a retired civil servant from the Information Service of the government of Pakistan. She has a double Majors MSc. Degree in Mass Communication & Speech Communication from the University of Illinois.

Shama Ehsan Khan (Late) was from the Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service of the Government of Pakistan. She worked as DG PIFRA and DG Commercial Audit, before being posted as GM Finance of Karachi Port Trust, where she served for five years before retiring in 2015. She joined the ASD Welfare Trust in 2017.

Ms. Farah Amanat has done her MS in Clinical Psychology from Government College University, Lahore with Distinction. She worked as a trainee Clinical Psychologist at Child Protection & Welfare Bureau and also at the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Mayo Hospital, Lahore. Later on, she was appointed as Clinical Psychologist and Academic Coordinator at Oasis School for Autism: Sharif Education Trust, Lahore. She has attended several trainings from the UK & UAE. She has a wide range of experience as therapist, trainer and event organizer.

Ms. Sunehra Zaidi has done her MS in Health Psychology from Lahore College Women University(LCWU), Lahore. She has Master degree in Psychology from Government MAO College. She got her experience as an internee in Adult Psychaiatry at Mayo Hospital Lahore. Before joining ASDWT, she worked as a therapist at the Oasis School Trust for Autism. At present, she is dealing with administrative work at the ASDWT Lahore Office and is also a trainer.

Ms. Faiza Ilyas has done Masters in Psychology, with a Post Magisterial Diploma in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi. She has worked as a Clinical psychologist and Academic Coordinator at Autism Resource Centre Islamabad. She has also worked as Behavior therapist at Down syndrome club Pakistan. She joined the ASDWT in 2019 and looks after trainings, seminars, coordination and media development.

Ms. Saira Mir is our Office and Marketing Coordinator. She did her B.A in Psychology from Lahore College for Women, followed by MBA in marketing from The International University (TIU) Lahore in 1995. She has 7 years informal work experience in the area of education and care of persons with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Ms. Ayesha Arooj has completed Mphil from IPP, Bahria University and holds Post Magisterial Diploma in Clinical Psychology from ICP, UoK. She has 3 years of Experience in working with children with ASD & ADHD. Overall, she has 5 years of experience in the field of Clinical psychology. Currently she is working at ASDWT, Lahore Office as a Clinical Psychologist.

Dr. Husna Albab has done her MS in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy from The University of Lahore. In 2017 she did her bachelor’s in Doctor of Physical Therapy from Azra Naheed Medical College- Superior University Lahore. She has done Sensory Integraiton Certificaiton recently. She has worked as a trainee Physiotherapist at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Center Lahore, City Clinic, Social Security Hospital and Ch. Muhammad Akram research and Teaching Hospital, Lahore. She has also worked as a Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist at Dimensions Institute for Autism Lahore. She joined ASDWT in 2022 as a Physiotherapist & Sensory Integration Therapist.

Ms. Ghazala Saleem, a certified Remedial therapist (R.E.A.D. Dyslexia) based in Karachi. Currently, I serve as a Remedial therapist and Teacher Trainer at ASDWT Karachi. Our focus lies in conducting awareness sessions and training programmers on Neurodevelopmental Disorders such as Autism, Dyslexia, ADD, and ADHD in schools and communities At ASDWT Karachi, we are proud to offer a Teacher Training Course titled "Remedial Strategies Aligned with the Science of Reading." This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the science of reading and its practical application within Karachi's educational landscape. Our emphasis is on evidence-based reading strategies and hands-on training, ensuring the effective implementation of these strategies aligned with 21st-century Reading Programs.
